The mission of Kids Kicking Cancer, now known as MATIO, is to ease the pain, stress, and trauma of children while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
About the Organization
Kids Kicking Cancer provides evidence-based martial arts therapy for children facing cancer, serious illness, and trauma. Through its Heroes Circle program, the organization teaches breathing, relaxation, meditation, and movement techniques that help children manage pain, reduce fear, and find a sense of power, peace, and purpose.
