Mario Lemieux Foundation was founded in 1993 after Mario Lemieux’s own diagnosis with Hodgkin’s disease. The foundation supports cancer research, patient care initiatives, Austin’s Playrooms, and programs that help improve the experience of patients and families in medical settings.
