About the Business
My name is Rachel Windom, and I am the founder of Rise Again: Light After Dark, Hope Over Hurt, a healing centered platform dedicated to mental health awareness, suicide prevention, addiction support, and compassionate community care. My work began from a place of personal loss, lived experience, and a deep understanding of what it means to navigate grief, trauma, and the long road back to yourself. Rise Again was created to be the safe space I once needed, somewhere people could breathe, be seen, and feel less alone in their darkest moments.Every day, I use my platform to educate, comfort, and empower individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or the weight of unspoken pain. My approach blends real world insight with gentle, accessible tools that help people understand what they're feeling and why. I believe healing is not linear, and no one should have to walk through their storms without support, compassion, and a place to land.
Through Rise Again, I create content that is emotionally grounded, visually comforting, and rooted in hope. My work includes daily mental health posts, grief support resources, grounding techniques, coping strategies, and community conversations designed to break stigma and open doors for healing. I partner with individuals, families, and organizations who share the mission of creating safer, more understanding environments for those facing mental health challenges.
My purpose is simple: to help people feel seen, validated, and supported especially when life feels heavy. Whether someone is grieving a loved one, battling internal struggles, or trying to rebuild after loss, I meet them where they are with empathy, education, and encouragement. Rise Again stands as a reminder that even after the darkest nights, there is still light, still hope, and still a reason to keep going.
I am honored to bring this mission into every space I enter, including memorial care and end of life support. Grief deserves gentleness. Families deserve guidance. And every story deserves to be held with dignity, compassion, and respect. My work is not just a platform it is a promise to help others rise again, one heart at a time.
